For veterinary teams

Your patient's history, before they reach the table

MaxVets gives your clinic clinical access to the structured, owner-logged health record your clients already keep in MaxPet — weight and body-condition trends, current diet and intake, a dated symptom timeline, medication adherence, and activity, sleep and behaviour. It's decision support that helps you prepare faster and advise with more context. It is not a diagnostic device.

Free to set up. A clinic account is separate from a MaxPet owner account.

Why it helps

Walk into the consult already informed

A longitudinal record

Instead of a single snapshot and an owner's best recollection, you see months of dated entries: weight, body condition, meals and water, symptoms with severity, and medication dose logs — in order, at a glance.

Objective body & energy figures

Body-fat percentage and ideal lean weight are estimated from validated morphometric equations, and a personalised daily energy requirement follows FEDIAF / NRC factors — grounding weight-management and feeding conversations in numbers, not guesswork.

A summary the owner controls

Owners can generate a clinical summary, choosing which sections to include, and share or print it for your visit. What you receive is the owner's own record, shared deliberately.

How it works

Three steps to a connected record

Step 1

The owner tracks in MaxPet

Your client logs weight, diet, symptoms, medication and more in the MaxPet app. The data is theirs.

Step 2

They add your clinic to the care team

The owner invites your clinic to their pet's care team as its veterinary practice — an explicit permission they grant, and can revoke, at any time.

Step 3

You review and send appointments

Your connected patients appear in MaxVets. Review their history and send typed appointments straight to the owner's app.

You can also invite a new client by email and propose their first appointment — they connect their pet from MaxPet.

What you can see

The record, laid out clinically

Weight & body condition

A weight trend over time with body condition score, plus morphometric body-fat and ideal-weight estimates.

Diet & intake

The pet's current diet and its energy density, logged meals and water, and daily grams fed against a computed allowance.

Symptom timeline

Owner-recorded symptoms, dated and graded by severity, marked resolved when they clear.

Medication adherence

Current medications with a dose log, so you can see what was actually given, and when.

Activity, sleep & behaviour

Logged activity minutes (which set an activity level), sleep hours, and a simple daily behaviour and mood rating.

Trends & environment

Statistical associations the owner may surface between symptoms and diet, medication or local pollen, air quality and weather — flagged as leads to investigate, never as diagnosis.

MaxPet never diagnoses, and some features are for the owner alone. See the full feature list →

Confidence comes from knowing how the numbers are made

Every figure MaxPet shows is either owner-entered or computed from a published, validated method — documented plainly so you can trust the data.

MaxVets and MaxPet are decision-support tools. They structure and surface owner-logged data and statistical associations to support your clinical judgement. They do not diagnose, do not detect disease, and are not a substitute for veterinary examination.
